I have volunteered in Philipstown for 20 years and look forward to continuing community service as part of the Town Council.

As a 10+ year member of the Philipstown Recreation Commission, coach for Philipstown Soccer Club and other youth sports programs, I’ve seen the need for expanded programming, accessibility, and field improvements.
Partnering with The Friends of Philipstown Recreation, we can work towards a “Splash Pad” for the Rec Center, investigate options for a Community Pool and build a comprehensive plan for Philipstown Parks & Recreation.

Recreational Programming
Community Resources
I will continue to work on expanding Senior Programming, improved Climate Smart funding, supporting our schools, and be sure that resources are provided for our vital services.
Let’s continue some of the great progress Philipstown has made on Climate Smart programs, finding grants and resources to benefit our community and the environment.
I will address deterioration of infrastructure with a proactive approach to issues our town is facing, including Route 9 development, roads, park fields, and safe water to our homes.
Town zoning and planning boards should collaborate with other government entities on the goals outlined in Philipstown’s Comprehensive Plan to better manage aging infrastructure, growth and traffic concerns.
Infrastructure Improvements
I will focus on developing policy and advocating for funding for our first responders and the safety of all of our residents. Retaining a robust fire and ambulance service is important to us all.
Working with Putnam County and New York State, let’s find ways to fund the growing needs of those that protect us on a daily basis.
